Blutengel is a German band formed in 1998 by Chris Pohl as alternative project, since the main project at the time was Terminal Choice. The band follows trends Dark Electro, Future Pop and Darkwave.
It was originally named "Seelenkrank" before becoming "Blutengel" but the activities had to be closed with the initial name for legal reasons.
When Constance Rudert and Eva Pölzing join the band and the launches of Angels of The Dark and Vampire Romance the band reached its peak in fame, coming in 58 th position in the German Top 100, thanks to positive feedback that Blutengel had at that time, he came to become the main project of Chris Pohl, leaving Terminal Choice as a side project.
The main features of the band are totally theatrical performances and vampires, with numbers of dance with artificial blood and pyrotechnic performances.

Steffi, in a note on your facebook, Chris said she was excluded from participation in the band stating "not be necessary her presence in the tour," since she had entered in the band to replace Constance and the songs she would sing were still juridical processes over copyright. She says she realized tha she was not welcome in the band when Chris recorded the clip Über der Horizont with Ulrike gesturing her mouth in parts that originally was Steffi singing. Chris gave no public response to it.
